About KMTA

Three attentive members

Kansas Music Teachers Association is dedicated to helping each student experience the joy of music. Through its educational programs and activities, this organization will empower its members - teachers with high professional standards - to foster in students a lifelong commitment to music as patrons, performers, teachers, and hobbyists.

KMTA will also work in partnership with communities across Kansas to insure that music is an ongoing, vital part of the cultural life.

KMTA extends its thanks to Capitol Federal Savings for their continuing support of the KMTA Honors Auditions.

KMTA and its umbrella organization, Music Teachers National Association, offer a networking system for teachers and college students to keep them informed and up-to-date on techniques used by the most revered educators in the profession.
