KMTA is a non-profit organization of music teachers in the state of Kansas. Many of our members have studio openings in a range of different instruments and levels. Our public "Find a Teacher" directory allows you to search for teachers by instrument, towns and zip codes.
Kansas Music Teachers Association is dedicated to helping each student experience the joy of music. Through its educational programs and activities, this organization will empower its members - teachers with high professional standards - to foster in students a lifelong commitment to music as patrons, performers, teachers, and hobbyists.
Membership in KMTA and MTNA offers many benefits, including insurance program, legal counsel, student programs (recitals, competitions and auditions), regular professional meetings with guest speakers, state and national conference, National Certificate of Music Teaching (NCTM), and more.
